Worship is a major part of Celebrate Recovery - “And you will sing as on the night you celebrate a holy festival; your hearts will rejoice as when people go up with flutes to the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.” Isaiah 30:29 NIV
Facilitators for Small Groups, Newcomers 101 for both men and women are needed, especially if you have an area or issue you understand well; i.e. abuse, abortion, sexual purity, anger, etc.
Sponsors make themselves available for participants who are going through the 12 steps and need someone to help them over tough spots. They are available to listen as participants read over their “inventory” of life’s journey and offer suggestions and encouragement. It is preferable if you have participated in any type of 12-step program; however, on-going training and support will be provided.
Accountability partners are vitally important; however, they do not need to be a graduate of a 12-step program. They can help participants stay on track and encourage them to attend CR meetings weekly. Ongoing training is available.
