Welcome to First Covenant Church of Sacramentos XTREME Summer Camps for your children and students. It is our privilege and desire to serve children in a real, relational way where Jesus is the center! Our XTREME Summer Camps are designed to give children choices based upon their interests, while at the same time giving them the opportunity to try something new and different. Each camp has specific preferences and age requirements, allowing children to have the best summer experience possible. All our camps are equipped with trained and screened staff allowing your children to have the safest and most XTREME summer ever!

SPORTS CAMP

Sports Camp is for children 4-14 years old (age dictated by the sport chosen). Join us for a great week where kids learn the importance of teamwork, while at the same time acquiring skills and techniques in Soccer, Basketball or Volleyball. Family and friends are invited to come out Friday night for our special tournaments and Awards presentations. Sports Camp  includes a shirt, medal and daily snacks. Sports Camp will meet each night from 5:30 - 8:00 pm in the Worship Center.

SUMMER BLAST ADVENTURE ISLAND

July 9-13, 2012

Summer Blast is our Vacation Bible School with a twist. Summer Blast includes a shirt, daily crafts and snack, and the best week of your child's summer! This year, on Adventure Island, kids will discover God’s livesaving love! Amid the swaying palm trees, exotic wildlife, and welcoming sunshine, kids will experience the powerful, unchanging promises of God. Blaster’s will see God at work in the lives of Old and New Testament Bible people. They’ll discover that God promises to be with us, to care about us, to give us what we need, to save us, and to answer us. So welcome to Adventure Island, where God’s promises never change, but your life definitely will!

COOKING CAMP

July 23-27, 2012

Students will explore the secrets of cooking and receive valuable insights into the culinary arts. Some activities include orientation to equipment use, baking through good techniques, principals of sauces and preparation in cooking and presentation, all while exploring ethnic and cultural dishes from “Around the World.” Other activities will include walking field trips to local food establishments and the creation of a cook book for the week. Cooking Camp is for students 8-14 years old and is limited to only 36 students, so sign up soon! Cooking Camp includes a customized Chef Hat, apron and lunch every day.

KIDSHINE PERFORMING ARTS CAMP "FOREVER AFTER"

July 30-August 3, 2012

Our goal is to provide a fun, creative, encouraging environment for participants to express the love and truth of God through the performing arts. We want every individual to try new things, be successful, and have an opportunity to truly shine- during the week, in the Friday show (7:00 pm, August 3), and beyond. Camp hours are 9AM-3PM for our OLDER CAMPERS (8-14 years old) and 9AM-12PM for our JR. KIDSHINE CAMPERS (6-7 years old). KidShine Camp includes a shirt, CD, scripts, props, costumes, and a daily snack. Full day campers will need to provide their own lunch each day.
