On Eagles Wings is an excellent place for people who are looking to serve with children and can adapt to a fast-paced setting. Our children are loving, energetic and all VERY unique. Our goal is to pair up each child with their own personal buddy so that they can have the attention they deserve and participate in the individual activities that serve them best since each child has their own unique set of abilities and needs. Some children may want to play inside with books and toys whereas others may prefer to run around in the church's playground, so all types of volunteers are welcomed!

If you are unfamiliar with special needs children, there are still ways to help. During our Friday respite nights, both special needs children AND their siblings are encouraged to attend. Those siblings are just as loving, energetic and unique as everyone else and are always looking for someone to play with, whether that's a game of basketball or even just dolls.

If you are interested in volunteering, you must fill out both a volunteer application and background check authorization form so that we can match you with the perfect child and keep our children safe.
