 This summer at First Cov is all about Jesus. Scholars call it "Christology." Together, we are going to walk through the book of Hebrews as it shows us the superiority and preeminence of Jesus Christ. As the author of Hebrews uses the Old Testament as an example, we are going to see that Jesus is just simply better. He is better than any Old Testament person. He is better than any Old Testament institution. He is better than any Old Testament ritual. He is better than any Old Testament sacrifice. He is better than anyone and everything else. All these examples point to who Jesus is and what He has done for us. Jesus has fulfilled it all. He is the ultimate God, the King of Kings, the everlasting high priest, and the perfect sacrifice.
